Emily & Patrick’s wedding on September 25, 2010 at the Inn At Rancho Santa Fe was so beautiful. Emily chose Archive Vintage Rentals for her vases, glassware, lounge seating, and accent decor. Krista Jon Couture Designs was her choice for floral and event styling. Ki Ki Lee Herr of B & K Designs, added her planning talents to bring everything together for this beautiful wedding.

The brides mother provided her own cherished collection of vintage silver and crystal pieces ranging from cake plates to candy dishes, including a beautiful tea pot collection and bowls, making for the most inspiring design framework. This made for a great start for me since flowers and all things vintage are such a huge part of my world! :)

Thanks to Kiki Herr of B & K Designs for putting together a fantastic delicious lunch for our good friend Robert Evans at The Humble Abode. Krista Jon designed the flowers and Tara Sieling snapped some pics and Stacie Truett assisted Kiki with set up. We felt honored that Robert wanted to come and check out our Event Studio here at the Humble Abode since, well, the guys incredible! He has shot weddings for the biggest stars of our time. Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Anniston, so many others. The best part is how down to earth and easy going Robert is. It was a real pleasure having him to our Event Studio here in San Clemente.

Special thanks to our Humble Abode Team of great vendors who made this party a huge success. Kiki Herr of B & K Designs took to the helm for us with her event coordinating expertise and led us all to success. Beautiful Florals by Krista Jon Couture Designs, photography by Tara Sieling, and a wealth of other tasty treats and entertainment all evening long. A full article is linked below from the Orange County Register. A-list celebrity wedding photographer, Robert Evans joined us and stayed for the after party. John Hargrove, CEO of Your Wedding Day Magazine also was there with us till the end. Delicious food and cocktails were provided by Carbonaras Catering and Beachfire. The Humble Abode
Welcome to The Humble Abode.
You might be asking yourself what is the Humble Abode, we are a collaborative event planning studio, Photo Gallery and Retail Boutique featuring the talented floral designs by Krista Jon. We are fortunate also to be in one of the original Historic Ole Hanson homes on Del Mar. We are located at 228 Avenida Del Mar (by the library) on the sunny side of the street. Brides, Companies or individuals can come to us for help in putting together unforgettable and gorgeous events. We have Vendors displaying their services within the Humble Abode. You can see everything from beautiful vintage collectibles, stationers to Candy Apple Makers, sweets such as cupcakes, beautiful photography and experienced wedding videoography. We also have gorgeous potted plants available for retail along with jewelry, breathtaking floral arrangements and antiques. It is BEAUTIFUL and amazing. Stop by and say hello.
