Hi I’m Krista Jon,
I started Downtown Flowers about 6 years ago in 2004 and I sooooo love my shop. For me it’s a place of escape, inspiration, fulfillment, with peace and chaos in creativity all at once. I feel right at home there like a mad scientist of flower designs. I love the ambience of the downtown feeling, with the locals passing by and all the bright eyed tourists. I get lost in the garlic aroma from Carbonara’s Italian food on the right, and the relaxed patio dining atmosphere from Billy’s Meat Market on the left. It’s this rare, quasi, old-world meets beach-town-kick-back surrounding us while we hustle our arrangements to be ready for the wedding weekend. We happily stop to share a hello from our regular customers and first-timers alike no matter how creatively deep we dive. Great music is always a part of the day, filling my senses with a bright array of sights and sounds and smells, with smiling happy people that inspire greatness in my floral designs. What more can a girl ask for?
Well since you asked, I have a beautiful family, live in the house of my dreams, my husband adores me and we have two gorgeous bouncing baby boys Luca 6 and Jonah 2. I absolutely love being a floral designer, a good friend, a mommy, wife, and an ever-growing and proud part of the Downtown San Clemente Business Community.
I’m very hands on with all my clients, have an incredibly talented support team, and together we make it look easy. My desire is to treat each client to the best I have to offer, and leave you with a very good feeling about your choice in booking me as well as finding exquisite delight with your floral designs.
